How did they get that fantastic boat from the water to its final destination? A utility trailer? What an experience that must have been: towing a piece of history from the ocean to a field where it undoubtedly sat in a bunch of weeds for years until someone used it for firewood. :(

That's too bad they decided to remove Lady Alice. In looking at Chicago attractions I would love to find a steamboat. Do you think they will ever restore it and bring it back?
