View Article  Half term prepartions

We been busy at home this week with yet more work on the website. Building links is tedious but necessary to get good rankings. Writing more structured web pages is also taking far longer than I had planned. Sent off lots of request for listings for half term next week when the trains will run daily.

The better weather has meant I went outside to tidy up. The pile of sand left from our store shed has gone after over a year. The trailer ahs been filled and so its off to the tip next. The workshop is slowly clearing so that at last the next carriage can be started. This will be another brake coach similar to the LTM coaches with lots of room for the guard to spread out.

Work at Rudyard has seen the new colour light signals fixed in place and working on the starter signal. However in due course its back to semaphores now that Ian has won some electric actuators on ebay. The signals moving does add more atmosphere than simply lights changing. The key thing is to make them sturdy enough to remain in place all the time.
