The local community payback team have been helping at the railway and car park for some weeks. They are doing a good job and have cleared lots of scrub from around the car park and along the path to the lake.
They have moved on to concrete the path from the platform to the level crossing which will make it easier for those in wheel chairs and biggies. There is lots on work still to do on the old platform before this season really gets underway.

It is so nice that communities are responding to the needs of the folks that are confined to wheel chairs. I don't think I ever gave it a second thought until I became confined to a wheelchair. I want to take the train to Chicago and of course wondering how it would work with a wheelchair. Glad to see some train lines are thinking about us.
