Trains were busy over the easter holiday break running for two and a half weeks and were busy after the first week before Easter when many schools were still open. The cafe was also open midweek after the bank holiday and proved very popular. The railways bacon butties are becoming famous. See http://www.rlsr.org/Food.htm for more information. 

We ran so many trains we had to order in extra suuplies of coal from our suppliers Wainrights of Wetley Rocks. Their service is really excellent and we depend on them. All the 5 steam engines have been  in traffic in April
